1. Do you deliver?
Yes! We offer free pick up in Charlottesville at PVCC, Scottsville at Food Lion, and Dillwyn at Food Lion and Central Elementary in Palmyra (only on Saturday and Sunday). Delivery to venues and all other locations is available and based on milage and setup time required. There is a 20.00 minimum delivery charge for all deliveries (except pick up locations) regardless of location.
2. Do you require a deposit?
Yes, we require a 50% deposit in order to reserve the date of your order. The remaining balance is to be paid one week prior to the event (subject to change). If payment is not received the order will not be fulfilled.
3. What forms of payment do you take?
We take credit which is available in your invoice.
4. Do you do tastings?
Yes! Tastings must be scheduled in advance.
5. Do you provide fresh flowers?
We will work with a florist of your choice if you choose to have fresh flowers. Most flowers are not pesticide free, and some are toxic. Please be sure to provide flowers that are safe. If you would prefer we find flowers for you, that will be done at an additional cost. We do not provide sugar or gumpaste flowers, however, we can order them from local artisans if that is your request.
6. Do you provide cake/cupcake stands?
Yes, we do have a large variety of cake and cupcake stands for rental. A 100.00 security deposit is required and will be returned after the stand is returned undamaged. Stand rental prices vary according to the stand(s) needed. A scheduled pick up time will be designated for the day after the event.
7. Do you have a minimum order?
Yes we do. In the months of March to October any weekend orders (Saturday and Sunday) have a minimum of 150.00. Cakes for these days can be picked up the Friday prior if you do not meet the minimum purchase. Cupcakes are sold by the dozen and requires one flavor cake, filling, or frosting.
8. How does ordering a custom cake work?
After initial contact where we get the minimum details (number of servings, flavors, date, event type, etc), you will receive an email with the details and price quote. Once all of the details are confirmed you will receive an invoice from Quickbooks. It is imperative that the invoice is checked over and details confirmed. The details will be assumed as being correct once your deposit and/or balance is paid in full.
